:: Daniel C. Gardner, Chief Executive Officer ::
Daniel C. Gardner is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Select-A-Branch ATM Network, LLC. Mr. Gardner is the inventor of the Select-A-Branch concept, and has filed for multiple patents on this unique business process in over 30 countries. Mr. Gardner is a member in standing of the ATM Industry Association.
Most recently, Mr. Gardner was the president of GM Holdings, LLC, a successful ATM operating company, which he founded in 2002. During the previous 5 years, Mr. Gardner was responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the business, including location acquisition, installation, cash management and reconciliation.
Prior to GM Holdings, LLC, Mr. Gardner was a co-founder and Director of Emerging Growth Equities, Ltd., a holding company with interests in investment banking, money management, and venture capital. While at Emerging Growth Equities, LTD., Mr. Gardner was focused on raising capital for emerging technology companies addressing high growth industry sectors. Inception to date, the firm has raised over $900 million in equity capital for technology, communications, and health care growth companies. Prior to Co-founding Emerging Growth Equities, Mr. Gardner was a Managing Director of Boenning and Scattergood, Inc., and was a Managing Director of Pacific Growth Equities.
Mr. Gardner holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
:: Daniel C. Stechow, Chief Operating Officer ::
Dan Stechow is a company co-founder and is responsible for development and operations of SAB's media and marketing products and services, public relations, branding and media content, and day-to-day operations.
Dan has an extensive background in all aspects of financial services product development, rich media strategy development and execution and interdisciplinary go-to-market capabilities.
Dan was most recently Chief Operating Officer for a Philadelphia-based technology provider, where he oversaw product development and sales of over 700 in-branch product installations for a regional bank. The company's self-service coin counter remains a substantial customer draw, delivering millions of transaction each year, and has been the subject of regional print and ad campaigns featuring television personality Regis Philbin. In 2005 CBS's 60 Minutes did a feature on the popularity of the product, hosted by Andy Rooney.
Prior to that, Dan was President and Chief Executive Officer of Braincraft Learning Technologies, a rich media web application development company, which he co-founded in New York City in 1994. At Braincraft Dan lead a team of 26 employees as well as all sales and marketing efforts. Self-funded and profitable throughout, Braincraft built rich media applications and strategies for some of the world's most prestigious brands, including Daimler Chrysler, AT&T, UPS, Lucent, Compaq, and Ameritech. Widely regarded as one of the world's top integrators of Flash technology, Braincraft won numerous awards, including three International Summit Creative Awards in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Culminating with the creation of the world's first -and still only- all Flash-based online bank (For USABancshares.com), Braincraft was awarded Macromedia's prized Commerce Award in 1999. In that same year, Mr. Stechow sold Braincraft to e-Sync Networks, a publicly traded corporation, and remained as division President through mid-2001. During this time, Mr. Stechow sat on the board of directors of USABancshares.com.
Prior to that, Dan had successful careers in both the music and television industries, including the coordination of all music performance elements of NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Dan earned degrees in Computer Science and Graphic Design from Michigan State University.
:: Robel Gugsa, Chief Technology Officer ::
Robel Gugsa is a co-founder of Select-A-Branch and is responsible for architecting Select-A-Branch proprietary software and product development. He is also responsible for all aspects of SAB's ATM Network operations and deployment.
Robel brings 16 years' experience in developing, deploying, installing and maintaining ATMs. That experience includes:
- Quality Assurance of all ATM fund transfer applications (from NCR, Diebold, Fujitsu, Triton, and Wincor) used to process 30,000+ ATMs for FiServe, the leader in electronic fund transfer (EFT) networking.
- Senior Systems Engineer at Fujitsu Financial Services, the third largest ATM manufacturer in the world. He was responsible for functional systems design of ATM hardware/software, based on client requirements to facilitate successful implementation, and helped design the first Windows-based ATM application in North America, successfully deploying 400+ of these ATMs at a major regional bank.
- ATM Solution Manager at Triton Systems, the second largest ATM manufacturer in the North America. Robel was instrumental in providing technology leadership in developing off-premise ATM strategy and the convergence of web-based solutions within traditional ATM applications and was involved in the design and development of a low-cost Windows/web-based ATM.. He was also centrally involved in deploying 200+ Windows/web-based ATMs at a large international bank.
Robel earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science at Polytechnic University (Brooklyn, NY) and a Master's in Information Systems Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
:: Christopher Geiger, Executive Vice-President Location Sales ::
Christopher Geiger is an executive manager who has provided instrumental direction and guidance to leading technology solutions and marketing systems companies for more than 20 years. He manages Select-A-Branch's sales and marketing relationships and efforts.
He is a seasoned business development professional, skilled at creating the company culture and building and attracting top professionals to the firm. His experience in translating highly complex solutions to meet the business demands of clients across all industry categories has benefited many of the world's leading companies, enabling them to address the challenges in customer relationships, information and technology strategy, data warehouses and advanced analytic systems and solutions.
Chris's career includes 17 years with Epsilon, including three years with its High Performance Computing Group, the fastest-growing business unit in the company's history. He co-founded Tessera Enterprise Systems, a leading solutions integration firm focused on helping companies create, build, manage and deploy customer marketing infrastructures. Chris also served as Tessera's SVP of Business Development.
Most recently Chris helped transform Darwin Partners from a pure technology staffing company into a diverse solutions integration organization with a national reputation for service excellence and led the company's efforts in providing offshore technology solutions in China.
Chris earned a B.A. degree in International Relations from Georgetown University.
:: Michael Tedesco, Executive Vice President Financial Sales & Services ::
Mr. Tedesco joined the Select-A-Branch team in 2008 and brings over 18 years of experience in Financial Sales & Services. Mr. Tedesco oversees all aspects of Financial Services Sales & Relationship Management.
Most recently Mr. Tedesco worked for the financial services sales division at Cardtronics, where his primary duty was ATM bank branding & ATM placements under various managed service placement agreements.
He successfully drove ATM branding revenues that included contracts with Sovereign Bank, HSBC, Webster Bank and ING Direct. He also launched the Bank at Work Program. Prior to that, Mr. Tedesco worked at Ventus Networks, where his primary duty was launching their new CDMA Wireless solution for offsite atm locations. He was responsible for developing new sales and reseller agreements that included Diebold, Visa, First Data, GenPass and Core Data. His strategic efforts help coordinate long term sales goals and industry relationships.
Michael attended the University of Bridgeport.
